Driving licence

How long does the examination take?
Less than 20 minutes. Includes the medical examination, the psychotechnical test and the digital photograph.
Do I need to bring a photo?
No. The photograph for the licence is taken digitally at the centre.
Do I get the provisional licence on the same day?
Yes. The provisional driving licence is issued immediately. It is valid for 6 months, during which time the DGT processes and sends the definitive licence to your home.
Do I have to go to the Traffic office?
No. We process everything directly with the DGT. You do not need to go to any office.
Is it valid for any type of licence?
Yes. The DGT requires an official medical certificate for obtaining, renewing or exchanging any type of driving licence.

Weapons, private security and PPP

What types of weapon licences do you process?
Category D (hunting) and category E (sport shooting).
Do you also issue certificates for private security (TIP)?
Yes. We issue the physical and psychological fitness certificate required by the General Directorate of Police for the Professional Identification Card (TIP).
How long is the PPP certificate valid for?
The certificate for potentially dangerous dogs is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

Nautical

For which nautical titles do you issue certificates?
For all: Navigation Licence, Basic Navigation Skipper (PNB), Recreational Craft Skipper (PER), Yacht Skipper and Yacht Captain.
How long is the nautical certificate valid for?
2 years for basic titles (Navigation Licence and PNB). 1 year for higher titles (PER, Yacht Skipper and Yacht Captain).
Is the certificate valid throughout Spain?
Yes. The nautical medical certificate issued at our centre is valid throughout Spain before the Maritime Captaincy.

Required documentation

What do I need to bring for the driving licence?
Valid ID card or NIE, current licence if it is a renewal or exchange, and glasses or contact lenses if you use them. No photo is required.
What do I need for the psychotechnical test for weapons or TIP?
Valid ID card, NIE or passport. For the TIP, also the official application for the permit. No photo is required.
What do I need for the nautical certificate?
Valid ID card or NIE and know which nautical title you are processing (Licence, PNB, PER, Skipper or Yacht Captain).
What do I need for the military examination?
Military identity document or valid TIP and the licence to be renewed. No photo is required.

Appointment, location and payments

Is a prior appointment mandatory?
It is not mandatory, but we recommend it to avoid waiting. You can book online through Calendly or contact us via WhatsApp.

C. Mauricio Moro Pareto 17, 29006 Málaga. With easy access by public transport and nearby parking.
What are the opening hours?
Monday to Thursday: 10:00–14:00 and 17:00–20:00. Friday: 10:00–14:00. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: closed.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, credit/debit card and Bizum.
Do the prices include those on the website?
We do not publish prices on the website because they may vary. Please check them via WhatsApp or call us.
How long has the centre been open?
We have been conducting medical examinations in Málaga for over 10 years. A centre with a long history and a medical team authorised by the DGT.
